Japanese Wakasa Nuri chopsticks are traditionally decorated with natural materials such as seashell, eggshell fragments and abalone shell. The chopsticks are made by hand. Only natural lacquer is applied to the chopstick tips, retaining the feel of the wood base. The chopsticks are comfortable to hold and easy to use, they are suitable for daily use.

大岸正商店是來自日本福井縣小濱市，從1969年經營至今，目前傳承了三個世代，以製作日本傳統工藝品「若狹塗」為主。「若狹塗」始於江戶時代，若狹是小濱市的舊稱，至今已有超過400年歷史，若狹塗筷子在日本佔有八成市場，使用蛋殼、松葉、檜葉等等不同材料，在油漆上反覆塗抹，最後在筷子上仔細打磨而做出不同的花樣。
